My first experience with dry needling was surprisingly positive. I went in with pain in my hip and upper glute muscle, and Dr. Karlo was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. Because of the area being treated, he was also very mindful and continuously checked in to make sure I was comfortable and feeling okay.
I could definitely tell something was happening during the treatment, but I barely felt the needles themselves since they are so small. The technique was much gentler than I expected, yet incredibly effective. I noticed relief and improved muscle tension afterward, and I’m really glad I gave it a try. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Karlo and dry needling to anyone dealing with muscle pain or tightness.
