FAQ
Do You Take Insurance?
Precision Point PT is a cash-based physical therapy practice and does not bill insurance directly. This allows us to provide more individualized, one-on-one care without the restrictions often associated with insurance-based treatment.
Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to verify your out-of-network physical therapy benefits.
Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for physical therapy?
Yes. Most physical therapy services are eligible expenses under Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
Can I be reimbursed by my insurance company?
Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. We can provide a detailed receipt or superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance provider.
Do I need a referral to use my HSA or FSA benefits?
In most cases, a referral is not required to receive physical therapy services in Virginia. However, HSA and FSA requirements may vary by plan. Contact your benefits administrator for specific guidance.
What if my HSA or FSA card is declined?
Some HSA/FSA administrators require additional documentation before approving certain transactions. If your card is declined, you may pay with another form of payment and submit your receipt or superbill for reimbursement.
Who should I contact with questions about my HSA or FSA coverage?
Please contact your HSA/FSA administrator or insurance provider for questions regarding eligibility, reimbursement, and coverage requirements.
